The major update 2.1.1 of Pumpkin Smashing is finished! There is a lot that has changed so let's go over all of it right here!

New Additions:

• Add the ability to quit the game with a new quit button or by pressing the "ESC" key on the keyboard, a message will show up letting players know to save before quitting before they fully quit out
• Add the function to save your game by clicking the save and load buttons in settings, there is also an auto-save feature that can be enabled and disabled in settings (will automatically be enabled when the game is first booted up)
• A new shop item the Custom Pumpkin has been added, you can customize it by going into the pumpkin canvas by clicking on the pumpkin on the title screen
• Updated the credits menu, there are now buttons that take you to mine and Kettako's specific profile pages
• New music was added, made by Kettako, for the pumpkin canvas called "Energetique"
• Achievement bars were added, they show up when you unlock an achievement and play a nice sound effect
• Sugar Pumpkin was added to point mode
• New HUDs were added to endless mode to show when "Quick Grow" "Longer Lasting Plants" "Quick Quick Grow" and "Even Longer Lasting Plants" are bought, which can be seen next to the tools HUD
• More Corn Pumpkins can be bought in endless mode
• Some textures have been updated
• Endless mode data is saved when you leave the game mode including points and smashing combo

Some other things to go over are how the game is now being made on GDevelop and not Scratch/Turbo Warp. The main reason this was done was so players can save their game, this way I can add more features without people having to redo everything from the beginning. The demo versions of the game still need to be worked on due to some bugs that need to be fixed and the itch page demo needs to be smaller in file size. I plan on getting the demos out by tomorrow so stay tuned for that!
